What to Expect at Watts Chapel Baptist Church

When you gather with us, you can expect biblical worship that is simple, reverent, and centered on Christ. Our service is built around the reading and preaching of God’s Word, prayer, and the singing of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.

We believe that the local church exists for the glory of God and the good of His people, so everything we do points to Him. Families worship together, the gospel is proclaimed, and Christ is exalted.

We are glad to welcome you, not with gimmicks or entertainment, but with the joy of gathering as God’s people around His Word.

What is the Worship Like?

Our services are a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary music, focusing on Christ-centered worship. You’ll hear biblical, expository preaching that applies God’s Word to everyday life.

What Should I Wear?

Come as you are! Some people dress casually, while others wear their Sunday best. Whether you wear jeans or a suit, you’re welcome here.

What About My Kids?

We love families, and we love having children in worship! At Watts Chapel, we believe the biblical model is for families to worship together, so children are always welcome in our services.

• Integrated Worship: Children join their parents in the service as part of the church family.

• Nursery: A parent-led nursery is available for infants and toddlers if needed, but children are encouraged to remain in worship.

• Kids’ Class (10am): During our Sunday Discipleship Groups, children enjoy an age-appropriate Bible study.

• Youth Group (10am): Students gather during Discipleship Groups for teaching, fellowship, and encouragement in the gospel.
