What is our vision?

At Watts Chapel, we believe that God has called us to be a vibrant, growing Church—a place where lives are transformed, people are equipped, and the Gospel is shared with a hurting world. Our vision is built on three foundational pillars: Disciple, Reach, and Pray. These values guide everything we do, from our worship to our outreach to the way we care for one another.

As we move forward together, we are committed to growing deeper in Christ, reaching beyond our walls to serve our community and the world, and believing God for more—knowing that He is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine. This vision isn’t just a statement; it’s the heartbeat of who we are as a Church and where we are headed in the future.

Our goal is simple: To be a Church that glorifies God and makes an impact on the world. We want every person who walks through our doors to know that they are part of something bigger—a community that is growing, reaching, and praying with great expectation.

1. DISCIPLE – We grow deeper in Christ.

We are a Church committed to becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus, rooted in His Word, and growing together in faith.

• Biblical Authority – God’s Word is our foundation.

• Gospel-Centered Worship – Christ is our focus.
  Our worship combines hymns and contemporary music, creating space for everyone to encounter God.

  We invest in the next generation, making sure they grow up with a strong faith and passion for God’s kingdom.

2. REACH – We go beyond our walls.

We are a Church that actively seeks to reach the lost, serve our community, and spread the hope of Jesus to the world.

  We actively share the Gospel through local outreach and global missions.

  We want to be the heartbeat of Crab Orchard, making a real impact in people’s lives.
  
  

3. PRAY – We believe God for more.

We are a Church that believes in the power of prayer to transform, revive, and do the impossible.

• Revival – We long for God to move.
  Revival has always been sparked by prayer. We pray for hearts to be awakened and for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit in our Church, community, and world.
  
  

• Growing Mindset – Expecting More, Believing Bigger.
  We are a Church on the move, growing and reaching for God’s glory. We believe in a big God who is doing big things in big ways among us, and we pray for God to continue guiding us in His Will.
