Now That You’re Saved… What’s Next?
Salvation is not the finish line—it’s the starting line of a brand-new life with Jesus. You’ve trusted Him, and now it is time to follow Him. This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about progress. Step by step. Day by day. You’re not alone—and we’re here to walk with you.
1. Be Baptized — Go Public with Your Faith
Baptism doesn’t save you, but it boldly declares that Jesus has. It’s your first step of obedience and a beautiful picture of dying to your old self and rising to walk in new life. Let us know when you’d like to schedule your baptism!
2. Join a Discipleship Group — Walk with Others
You were not saved to walk alone. In a small group, you’ll grow deeper in your faith with others who want to follow Jesus too. You’ll find encouragement, accountability, and real friendships.
3. Read Your Bible Daily — Hear God's Voice
Start with the Gospel of John. Read a chapter a day. Ask: “What does this tell me about Jesus? How should I respond?” His Word will shape your heart and renew your mind.
4. Pray Every Day — Talk to Your Father
Prayer is not about perfect words. It’s about a real relationship. Thank Him. Confess to Him. Ask for His help. Praise Him. Prayer fuels intimacy with Jesus. Keep it simple. Keep it honest.
5. Meet with a Mentor — Get Encouragement and Guidance
You need someone a little further down the road to help you grow. We would love to meet up with you, answer questions, and help however we can. Just reach out anytime.
6. Start Serving — Use Your Gifts for God's Glory
God saved you for a purpose. Even if you feel unqualified, you are called. There’s a place for you here. Take a Spiritual Gifts test and speak to leadership about using your gift. This is where you will flourish in your faith!
7. Stay in Community — Keep Showing Up
The enemy wants to isolate you. Don’t let him. Keep showing up to church. Stay planted in the family of God. You’re not meant to do this alone. You belong here.
8. When You Fall, Run to Jesus
You will stumble. That doesn’t mean you’re not saved. Don’t run from Jesus—run to Him. He’s faithful to forgive and restore. His love for you doesn’t depend on your perfection—it depends on His.
Remember:
You are a new creation.
You are fully forgiven.
You are deeply loved.
You are never alone.
You are His.
